WITT, William Forrest (Bill)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, April 27, 2016, page 5a Bill, 68, passed away quietly at his home in Prescott Valley with his loving wife of 46 years, Wanda and his loving family by his side on April 18, 2016 , after a long courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born in Oakland, California on Dec. 21, 1947, to William Harry Witt and Ruby Brandon Witt. Moved to Arizona as a boy and stayed. Bill is survived by his wife of 46 years, Wanda; daughters Lisa and Susan; son Matthew and his wife Christy; grandchildren, Johnny, Joey, Michaela, Bailey, Ian, Liam, Ryanne, Max and Megan; great grandchildren Harrison and Johanna; and loving life-long friends. Bill retired from the City of Tempe after 30 years of service. He loved family, fishing, bowling, golf, Laughlin and Woods Canyon Lake. A Celebration of Life will be at noon Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Mountain Valley Park Gazebo. Special thanks and donations appreciated to Hospice Family Care. Information provided by survivors.
