Edna C. Butler, 87, of Madisonville, Kentucky, formerly of Unionport, Indiana, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016, in Madisonville.
She was born Oct. 5, 1928, in Randolph County, Indiana, to the late Floyd Edwards and Edith Edwards. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Butler, and two grandchildren.
Edna and her husband Harold celebrated 54 years of marriage together. They lived in Prescott Valley, Arizona, for 19 years and attended the Prescott Valley Christian Church. She moved to Kentucky in 2004 to be close to her family.
Edna is survived by a son, James Butler of Madisonville; three daughters, Nancy Walradth of Parker City, Indiana, Janet Bivens of Moore, Oklahoma, and Tresa Mallory of Winchester, Indiana; one brother, John Edwards of Winchester, Indiana; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2016, at the National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona.
