Oscar "Ozzie" Burkhardt, 89, of Lake Montezuma, AZ, passed away on March 3rd, 2016 after a valiant battle with cancer.

He served his country in WWII as a Navy Sonar man. He was born in Los Angeles and enjoyed his childhood as the youngest of 6 other siblings.

He is survived by his sister, Ruth Novikoff, his son Eric Burkhardt (Rheena) and his daughter Amy Oard.

He was loved by everyone he met. This world has lost one of the kindest and gentlest human beings you could ever know. He didn't have an enemy in the world and we will all miss this precious man.
