| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, April 29, 2016, page 12a George Louis Dworshak, 101, of Prescott, Arizona, passed away April 26, 2016. Arrangements by ABC Funerals. ------------------------ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, May 18, 2016, page 7a George L. Dworshak went to be with his Lord, April 26, 2016. He was born in Duluth, Minnesota, on Nov. 11, 1914. He enjoyed working on cars and teaching the message of Christ to those around him. George was a WWII vet who served in the U.S. Army as a mechanic for the motor pool, driving officers and medical vehicles. On his 100th birthday, he rode in the 1st Grand Marshal Car in the 2014 Veterans Day Parade. His wife, Geraldine of 53 years, preceded him in death. He is survived by his children Ruth, Daniel, Lois; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. There will be a Military Honors Memorial service at 10 a.m. on May 21, 2016, at the VA Chapel, Prescott, Arizona. Information provided by survivors. |
