Miss Mathewson Dies After Long Illness

Miss Della Mathewson died last night at midnight at her home on South Marina street.  Her death was due to complications following a paralytic stroke several weeks ago.

Miss Mathewson was born in Omaha, Neb., in 1878.  She and her father came to Prescott in 1908 to live with her brother and sister, the late Mrs. F. C. Paine.

Miss Mathewson is survived by a brother, Earnest O. Mathewson, a brother-in-law, F. C. Paine, Crosby F. Paine and Elbert O. Paine, both of California and by several cousins.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday.
