Patrick W. “Wally” Scholl, age 65, Webb City, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012 at Freeman West Hospital after a sudden illness.

Wally was born April 21, 1947 in Wickenburg, Arizona, son of the late William Scholl, and Ruth Scholl of Tempe, Arizona. He graduated from High School in Arizona, and then served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era where he received several Medals and Citations, and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, Wally was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Scholl, and his father-in-law, Jimmy C. Morris.

Survivors include the love of his life, best friend, and wife for over 21 years, Cindy Morris Scholl; son, Chad DeGraffenreid of Webb City; sister, Kathy Franklin and husband Butch of Tempe, Arizona; mother, Ruth Scholl also of Tempe; grandchildren, Joseph and Dakota; mother-in-law, Connie Morris of Webb City; brothers-in-law, Jasper Morris of Webb City, John Morris and wife Sally of Burleson, Texas, Rev. Joe Morris and wife Donna of Webb City.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at Wildwood Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Morris, and other family and friends officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Wildwood Baptist Church Building Fund.
