| Camp Verde Bugle, Cottonwood, Arizona Saturday, May, 2016 Melva E. Baker, also known as Betty, 88, died peacefully April 13, 2016, at her home in Cottonwood, Arizona. She was born Dec. 20, 1927. Betty was survived by her daughter and 2 sons, her sister Grace Smith of Phoenix, her brother Howard Bickerdyke of Prescott, 9 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Betty was a life-long resident of Arizona, and called many people her friends. Her silly ways always made everyone around her happy. She will be very missed by everyone who loved and knew her.
