T.O. "Pappy" Dollar, 89, the constable of the city of Ajo from 1962 until retiring in 1979, died Jan. 1, 1987, in Glendale. Mr. Dollar, of Glendale, was born in Bethel Springs, Tenn., and moved to Arizona 45 years ago from Oklahoma. He was deputy sheriff of Pima County from 1952 to 1962. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Primitive Baptist Church of Phoenix, the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Police in Ajo.

Survivors include daughters, Glenna Bacon, Geneva Vandever and Genita Allen; son, W.O. "Peso" and Wyman; two brothers; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with services at 10 a.m. Monday, at Lundberg's White Rose Chapel, 5310 W. Northern. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Ajo Cemetery.
