He was born in Harlan, Iowa on December 7, 1912. A resident of Arizona for 64 years, Mr. Hammes worked as a Civil Engineer. He is survived by his wife Vana M. Hammes, two sons and their wives: Tim and Belinda Hammes of Camp Verde, Ariz., Kenneth, Jr. and Nancy Hammes of Searcy, Ark. and three grandchildren: Keith Hammes of Camp Verde, Arizona; Kennon Hammes of Abilene, Tx. and Whitney Hammes of Searcy, Ark.. Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 5th at Valley View Cemetery, Clarkdale at 2:00 P.M. Westcott Funeral Home is directing arrangements for the Hammes Family.
