Jerry Jordan, Painting Contractor, Dies at 35

Jerry Jordan, 35, of 1804 W. Tuckey Lane, died yesterday in Phoenix Baptist Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mercer Mortuary, 1541 E. Thomas, with burial following at Memory Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.

Mr. Jordan was born in Cottonwood and attended Emerson Elementary School, North Phoenix High School and Phoenix College. He was a painting contractor and a partner in the J. and M. Paint Co.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Phoenix Lodge 708, and vice president of he Arizona and Southern Nevada Council of PDCA.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine A., and two daughters, Janice and Cindy, of Phoenix; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eric W. Jordan of Scottsdale, and three sisters, Mrs. Karen Andrews of Phoenix, Mrs. Dolly D. Emmett of Flagstaff and Mrs. Helen Marie Abel of San Francisco.

The family suggests that memorials be sent to the camping fund of the Southwest Conference of the United Church of Christ, 816 E. Georgia.
