AGUIRRE, Pete N.

The Eastern Arizona Courier, Safford, Arizona Pete N. Aguirre, 89, passed away peacefully June 24, 2007, at his home in Thatcher. He was born in Fort Thomas on Jan. 31, 1918, to Aguilon and Petra (Barela) Aguirre. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dominga Aguirre, and infant daughter, Mary Alice. He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Dolores (Lola) P. Aguirre; sister, Amy Aguirre of Safford; daughter, Barbara (Ron) Holland of East Hampton, Conn.; son, Pete A. Aguirre of Safford; three grandsons, Brian Holland of Virginia, Chris Holland of Texas and Roderick Aguirre of Tucson; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews as well as many close loving family members. Arrangements were entrusted to Morris Safford Funeral Home.
