| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, May 18, 2016, page 7a Barbara “Colleen” Daniels, 82, was born into Heaven on May 7, 2016. She was born in Sioux City, Iowa, on March 6, 1934. Mourning her are her husband of 62 years, Robert H. Daniels; three children, Victoria Sanchez, Loree Daniels and Robert P. Daniels; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; Colleen’s sister, Betty Friedl; and several nieces and nephews. Colleen was known for her gifts of encouragement and hospitality. She would never miss a chance to go the extra mile and make her family and friends feel welcomed. Much of her life was spent in the kitchen preparing wonderful meals stuffed full of love. She is responsible for the family’s motto “Till We Eat Again.” Her 62 years as a wife were extraordinary. Following her husband all over country as his career led him and the family on to new adventures. She would waste no time getting involved with various neighborhood and church groups. She loved to golf, play card and board games, and travel, especially in an RV. In her earlier years, she was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed needlework and cross stitch, played the piano and church organ. Later in life, she took to playing Bocce and the Q-chord. She was an integral part of the music team at Cornerstone Fellowship at Orchard Ranch. She will be greatly missed, but we find comfort in knowing she is with the LORD and waiting for the day we will be reunited in Heaven. A Celebration of her Life will be at 2 p.m. on May 22, 2016, in the Round House at Orchard Ranch, 11250 E. Highway 69, Dewey. Information provided by survivors. |
