| Lebanon Daily News (Lebanon, PA) Wednesday, May 29, 1963, p 2 George L. Stark, Clothing Store Partner, 65, Dies George L. Stark, 65, Harrisburg native and co-founder of Stark Brothers clothing stores, died Monday in Phoenix, Ariz., where he had made his home for the last four years. In his younger years he spent a number of summers at Mt. Gretna, and was well known to veteran residents there. The Harrisburg native graduated from the old Harrisburg Tech High School and attended Penn State University prior to entering business with his brother, Kenneth, as his partner. The deceased later resided in Philadelphia for some years after the brothers took over the McDonald and Campbell store there and operated it for many years. He was a member of Perseverance Lodge 21, F and AM, Harrisburg Scottish Rite Consistory, Knights Templar, Zembo Shrine Temple, the Union League of Philadelphia, the Lambs Club of New York, and Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He worshipped in the Lutheran faith. Survivors include his wife, the former Florence Rinkenbaugh, another former Mt. Gretna resident; his brother, Kenneth, of Camp Hill; his father, William A.
