| Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory, Wickenburg, Arizona David Anthony Domas July 7, 1944 - May 30, 2016 David Anthony Domas, age 71, passed away May 30, 2016 at his home in Aguila, Arizona. Dave was born July 7, 1944 in Galveston, Texas to Andrew and Stella Domas. He attended schools there and began playing in musical groups as a drummer and eventually played and toured professionally. He moved to Anchorage, Alaska at the age of 19 and worked as a pipefitter-plumber and in 1987 established Anchorage Plumbing and Heating. Dave was a avid pilot and had several planes during his lifetime. He began wintering in Arizona in the late 1990s. He enjoyed flying, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He was a member of the Anchorage Baptist Temple in Anchorage. Dave is survived by his wife Mary of Anchorage and Aguila and children: Debra (Mark) Escola of Amissville, Virginia, Brandi Domas & James Davies of Anchorage, Brad Domas and step-son Rick Powers both of Anchorage, brothers John Domas of Michigan and Andrew(Mattie) Domas of Anchorage, sisters Geri (Fred) Tupper and Carle VanSkye both of Florida and a grandson Levi Davies of Anchorage. Dave was preceded in death by son Gregory Domas and step-daughter Deborah Powers. A Celebration of Dave's Life will be held in Anchorage later this month and a memorial will be held in Arizona in the Fall. |
