| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/03/2016 Chari D’Nae Perkins died May 30, 2016, after a short battle with colorectal cancer in Gilbert, peacefully surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born Nov. 9, 1971, to Charles Edward Perkins and Barretta Kathleen Perkins in Winslow. Chari was raised most of her life in Joseph City and moved to Chandler in 2015. Chari was married to Ronnie Blosser for nearly 25 years, and they ended their marriage in 2015. Their love for each other never died and they began to date again in January. Chari’s hobbies included watching her daughters play sports and being with her grandbabies; Lilly and Ashlyn were the lights of her life. There wasn’t a moment that went by that she wasn’t asking or talking about them. Chari was part of Plexus Worldwide for over two years as an ambassador. It gave new meaning to her life. She loved her Plexus and all of the new friends that she met in the process. Chari is survived by her father, Charles E. Perkins; mother Barretta K. Perkins; sister Donette Maestas, brothers Shawn Perkins and Jason Perkins; daughters Tahlisa Bray and Harlie Blosser; and granddaughters Lilly Blosser and Ashlyn Bray. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday June 4, at the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Holbrook Stake Center with funeral services immediately following at 11 a.m. Silver Creek Mortuary handled arrangements. |
