The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, June 5, 2016, page 7a Myrna Joy Kurtz, 59, died on May 30, 2016 at her home in Prescott, Arizona. Myrna was born on Nov. 23, 1956 in San Bernardino, California to Jewel and Raymond Kurtz. She spent the last 16 years teaching at Prescott Mile High Middle School, where she was a respected educator and colleague. Myrna was the beloved mother of Michael, Holly, and Kimberly Shurte, and a cherished sister and friend. Information provided by survivors.
