James Yerian

James E. Yerian, 71, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 1997, at the Prescott Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

He was born May 24, 1926, in Springfield to Maurice and Anita (Bogard) Yerian.

He was a machinist for Rohr Aircraft in California before retiring in 1992. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Mr. Yerian married Janice Walker on March 20, 1983, in San Diego, Calif. They moved to Wilhoit three and a half years ago from California.

Survivors include his wife, Janice of Wilhoit; stepsons, Robert McCollum of Blythe, Calif.; and Craigory Jones of Willhoit; stepdaughter, Doretta McCollum of Humboldt; and four grandchildren.

Private family services were held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of choice.

Sunrise Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.
