James R. Hottinger, 104, of Prescott, born March 31, 1912, in New York, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Germaine Catholic Church, 7997 E. Dana Drive in Prescott Valley.

James Rocchino “Jim” Hottinger, 104, of Prescott passed on June 13, 2016. He was born March 31, 1912 in Manhattan, New York to Charles and Pierina (Laraia) Hottinger.

He was the second of four brothers and is survived by his youngest brother Victor of New Jersey; and his daughters Carole McPadden of New Jersey and Diane (Mike) Liversidge of Prescott. He is also survived by his five grandchildren Michael, David and Kerin McPadden, and Laura and Michael Liversidge; and his great-grandchildren Declan, Micaela, Samantha, Sean, Aiden and Cory.

Jim moved to Prescott in 1986 with his wife Dot, who preceded him in death in 2002. He was a sports fan and loved his New York teams in baseball and football, but also rooted for the Arizona teams.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim’s name to Aviant Hospice in Cottonwood at 928-441-1071.

There will be a celebration of Jim’s life at 11 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016 at the St. Germaine Catholic Church, 7997 E. Dana Drive in Prescott Valley.
