Frank Sinclair Roberts

Frank S. Roberts, 82, of Prescott Valley, Arizona passed peacefully in his home June 7, 2016. He was born to Frank E. Roberts and Janet M. Cuthbertson Roberts June 19, 1933, in Galesburg, Illinois. He was raised in Breman, Indiana, where he attended and graduated from the Breman High School in 1951. He met his wife of 60 years, Mary Alice Wood, and they were married Sept. 18, 1955.

Frank served in the US Army during the Korean conflict, 1953-55. He was a lineman for NIPSCO (Nisource) in Indiana for 40 years. He was a member of the Lions Club for 43 years, where he obtained the Melvin Jones Award, Distinguished Service Award, Lion of the Year and Lifetime Membership. He was also a member of the Mile High Tractor Club and the Prescott Valley United Methodist Church, where he was the official bell ringer for the Sunday services. He also drove for PV Meals on Wheels for many years.

Frank is survived by his wife Mary Alice Roberts; and their son, Richard J Roberts of Indianapolis, Indiana. Interment will be in Breman, Indiana, at a later date. (Arrangements entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home of Prescott Valley).

A memorial service for Frank will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016, at the Prescott Valley United Methodist Church.

Franks S. Roberts passed away on June 7, 2016, in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

A celebration of life will be held at Prescott Valley United Methodist Church, 8944 E. Sommer Drive on July 21, 2016, at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Prescott Valley United Methodist Church, Prescott Noon Lions Club or Mile High Tractor Club.
