Gustin June 5, 1933 - July 7, 2016 Betty Gustin was born June 5th, 1933 in Berryville, Arkansas to Leonard Francis Brooks and Ina Veetta Brumley Brooks. Raised in Norwich, Kansas, her siblings include Audie Brooks (deceased), James Brooks (deceased), Yvonne Kilgore (deceased), Kenneth Brooks (deceased), and Sharon Brewer of Garden City, Kansas. Betty was married to Richard (Bud) Gustin (deceased) and had two children, Alan Gustin of Wickenburg, Arizona, and Carol Madden of Phoenix, Arizona (deceased). Bud and Betty moved to Eagle’s Roost Airpark in Aguila, Arizona about twenty years ago. They had many friends there. Bud passed away in November of 2011, and Betty continued living in the Eagle’s Roost home until her death. Betty was a sweet, kind-hearted woman who loved her friends and family. She will be missed by many. Betty passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday evening, July 7th, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Wickenburg Bible Fellowship Church at 970 N. Tegner St. in Wickenburg. |
