Wickenburg (AZ) Sun Friday, March 5, 1954 Funeral services were pending Thursday for Mike Klasik, pioneer resident of this community, who passed away Tuesday morning at Community Hospital. His death was due to cerebral hemorrhage. He collapsed while eating breakfast at the Horseshoe Cafe at 8am and died a few hours later. He is believed to have been about 80 years old. Born in Yugoslavia. Mr Klasik came to Wickenburg in the early 1900's and worked in several mines of this area, including the Ore Grande, Gold Bar and others. In recent years he suffered from failing vision. He had been living alone in a trailer house at the Tony O'Brien ranch.
