Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens Phoenix, AZ Gladys Adams November 20, 1916 - December 30, 2012 Gladys Adams was born on 11/20/1916 in Tollette, Arkansas to the parents of Edward and Classie Davis. Her brothers and sister Tom, Willie, Ellis, Elmore and Ozaree preceded her in death. She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Worthy Adams in Tollette, Arkansas. To this union ten children were born. One son, L.C. and two daughters, Ruthie May and Ruth El who preceded her in death. In 1963, she moved to Maricopa, Arizona at the Hathaway address, where she resided until her death on December 30, 2012. Gladys Adams believed in God and was a participant in church services at her home until her health began to fail. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters Eva McConnell, Priscilla Brytus and Peggie Adams and Four sons Fezel , Worthy Jr., Jewel and Pitt Adams all of Maricopa, Arizona. As well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Gladys Adams passed away on New years eve 2012. Her husband Worthy Adams preceded her in death in 1994, also preceding her in death is her eldest Daughter Ruth El Adamsin 2007 and eldest son Althie "LC" Adams in 2000. She leaves behind 4 sons Fezel, Jewel, Worthy Jr and Pitt all of Maricopa AZ and 3 daughters Eva, Priscilla and Peggie all of Phoenix, Az and a host of Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
