| Camp Verde Bugle, Cottonwood, Arizona Saturday, July 9, 2016 Janalyn January Hanna was born March 6, 1957 to Eddie and Linda January. She died unexpectedly on May 24th in Phoenix, Arizona. Janalyn married her high school sweetheart, Chris Hanna and was married for 30 years. They were blessed with two children, Lee & Cami, they raised in Cottonwood, Arizona. Janalyn found great joy and value in her work as a dental assistant to Dr. Roy Daniels & as an assistant to Optometrist, Dr. Serge Wright, both in Sedona, Arizona. After their kids graduated, they moved to Phoenix, and she went on to become the office manager at Arizona Tax Research Association working under the management of Kevin McCarthy where she thrived. To write a resume of her life attempting to capture it in a matter of paragraphs, would be futile and insulting to the way she lived her life. You had only to speak to her momentarily to be infected by the authentic way she conducted herself which allowed you to see how truly beautiful she was. Typing words describing the value of a human's life as precious as Janalyn, feels like composing a resume in a sentence. It does not begin to convey who she genuinely was or what she contributed to those who knew her and the lives of those she impacted-many of whom she sadly, was never aware. Janalyn was a cherished wife, mother, sister, auntie, Nana, and friend. The vacancy of her is overwhelming to all who knew her and life will have far less color in it without her. She leaves behind her daughter Cami Hanna-Schmidt, son-in-law- Randy Schmidt, grandson Dallon of Gilbert, her son Lee Hanna (predeceased) Dixie Hanna, granddaughter of Tucson and former husband of 30 years, Chris Hanna of Colorado. Mother. Linda January of Cottonwood and sister Michelle January of Phoenix. Michael January & Dyan Colacurcio siblings, Rocklin, California. A Memorial Service celebrating Janalyn's life will be held at the Camp Verde High School gym on Saturday, July 16th at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Bread of Life Missions which feeds the homeless. http://www.bolmaz.org/ Information provided by survivors. |
