ROBEY, Carol Louise

Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, May 02, 2009 Carol Louise Grow Robey was called by God on April 20, 2009, in Prescott, Ariz., after a hard battle with cancer. She was born Sept. 12, 1939, in Clarksburg, W.Va., and was preceded in death by her parents, Merle W. Grow and Mercedes Shreve Grow. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gary Robey; two children, Pamela Hoskin, R.N., of Tempe, Ariz., and Bradford Robey of Boone, Iowa; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Ronald Grow of Virginia; three nieces and a nephew. Carol retired from the Clark County Juvenile Court Services, Las Vegas, Nev., as a juvenile probation officer after 30 years. She attended colleges and specialized training at several institutions. She volunteered for 12 years with the Yavapai Juvenile Court and served as a member on the AZ Foster Care Review Board. She was a loving, caring person with a strong personal relationship with God. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Arrangements were entrusted to Hampton Funeral Home. Information provided by survivors.
