Eugene Theodore (Gene) Schneider

Eugene "Gene" Theodore Schneider was born December 21, 1926, Carlyle, Illinois. Mr. Schneider died July 18, 2016 , in Sedona, Arizona.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Gene honorably served his country in the United States Army and was a WWII Veteran.

He graduated from The University of Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy in 1950.

He worked as a geophysicist and a seismologist in the oil industry traveling throughout North America.

Gene and his family settled in Northern Arizona in the 1970's where he became a respected, successful entrepreneur. His hard work and sound advice inspired many others.

He was known for his friendly demeanor, keen sense of humor and generosity.

He was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Therese (Dieckman) Schneider; his sister Carol and brothers Anthony and Leroy; his son Gary Eugene Schneider.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rosa Lee (Walt) Schneider. His daughter Terry A. Schneider; his grandchildren Nina A.Schneider-Williams, husband David, Jessica L. Cortes, husband Guillermo, Johnathan Schneider and Richard S. Schneider, wife Alicia.

He will be greatly missed.

Private memorial service is planned for a later date.
