| Camp Verde Bugle, Cottonwood, Arizona Thursday, August 11, 2016 Everett W. Moore Jr., 82 of Clarkdale, passed away at home on August 8, 2016. He was born on April 6, 1934 in Pomona, CA to Everett Moore Sr. and Nellie Hays Moore. Everett attended the University of Missouri for 3 years. In his early years, he worked as an electrical and mechanical engineer. In his later years, he was a self-employed publisher and owner of Firepower, Swat and Turbo magazines. Everett was proud of being a published author and pilot. He also built and drove horseless carriages. He enjoyed planes, trains and automobiles. Everett was preceded in death by his parents Everett Sr. and Nellie Moore and grandsons Shawn, Shannon and Jarin Berryman. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marilyn Hudson Moore; sons Larry Moore of Cave Creek and Bill Moore (Debby) of Cottonwood; daughter Terri Arnett (Bret) of Cornville; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 10:00am with burial to follow at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale.
