| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, July 15, 2016 Carole (Alger) Estrada, 54, passed away on July 11, 2016, in Phoenix, Arizona. Arrangements will be made with Hampton Funeral Home. ------------------------------- The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, July 17, 2016 After a fierce battle against ovarian cancer, Carole passed away July 11, 2016. She was surrounded by loved ones. Carole was born January 11, 1962, proudly, in Prescott, AZ. She is the daughter of Hugh Alger (deceased) and Beth Cothren. She is survived by her mother; her siblings Len (Sandi) Alger, Marlene Alger, Wayne Alger, and Charley (Deb) Alger; her daughters DeAna (Nakia) Orozco, Alexandria Estrada, and Marisa Estrada; and grandchildren Jade Rangel, Jeremiah Schleier, and Jazmine Patton. Devotion to her three daughters and grandchildren was foremost. She was a highly valued employee of American Express for over 20 years. Her work ethic is legendary. Carole’s passion was for the Arizona Girls Softball League (AGS). For more than 20 years she was an AGS leader and served as coach, board member, snack bar manager, mentor and “mom” to more than 50 girls. She was a beloved mom, nana, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Carole openly shared her end of life journey with family and friends. “Live, Laugh, Love” was the motto she lived by. Her family wishes to extend their gratitude for the avalanche of love, support and prayers. In lieu of flowers, Carole chose donations be made, in her name, to Hospice of the Valley. www.HOV.com A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 22, 2016, at 11:00 AM, in Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV), 7007 W. Happy Valley Rd, Peoria, AZ, 85383, in the Palo Verde II room. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016, at 12:00 PM, at Hampton’s Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott, AZ, 86303. Internment will immediately follow at Arizona Pioneers’ Home Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Hampton Funeral Home. Information provided by survivors. |
