Ethel M. (Huebner) Dannen

Ethel was born July 8, 1921, on a farm near Ackley, Iowa, to William and Bertha (Finger) Huebner. She graduated from Ackley, Iowa High School in 1939. Ethel was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. in Iowa Falls, Iowa during and a few years following World War II.

She married Donald Dannen May 25, 1947. Don was a building contractor and they moved around the state of Iowa for a number of years, residing in Eddyville, Iowa, for 14 years before moving to Prescott Valley, Arizona, in June 1974.

After moving to Prescott Valley, Ethel was actively volunteering in the Prescott Valley Mingus View Presbyterian Church and held several offices there, plus helping where needed.

Her husband of 53 years preceded her in death March 25, 2001.

Ethel has donated her body to science.

She is survived by sons Scott and Blake; Grandchildren Jill Larson (Husband George Larson) of Flagstaff, Arizona, Ross Dannen of Flagstaff, Arizona, Christopher Dannen and Kay Dannen of Prescott Valley; Great Grandchildren Alex, Charles, Sophia and Serenity; Brother Vernon Huebner and Sister-in-law Norma of Prescott Valley.

Internment to be in Alden, Iowa, at a later date.
