Died July 21, 2016, in Prescott, Arizona. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, John passed away peacefully. He is survived by his wife, Cindy, their two kids, John and Lynn, as well as his grandchildren, Kaeleigh, Hayden, Madison and Christopher. He is also survived by an older brother, Bill Murphy of Colorado, and older sister, Gail Madden of New York. A retired Air Force, Vietnam Veteran, John was proud of his service to his country. He would go on to pursue his lifelong ambition of heavy equipment operator with the Maricopa County Highway Department before health issues forced him into his second retirement.
