| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, August 21, 2016, page 7a Gertrud Motzek, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, passed away of natural causes in the early morning hours of Aug. 8, 2016, at the age of 83. She is survived by her sons, Klaus Michael and Wilfried. She also is survived by her granddaughter, Tiffany, living in California; and two brothers, Ludwig and Gerd, living in Germany. Gertrud retired to Prescott Valley after working for the City of New York. Gertrud loved quilting, knitting, baking, gardening and enjoying the wonderful outdoors in the Prescott area. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neighbors. A memorial service will be held at American Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive, Prescott, on Wednesday, Aug. 24, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Lutheran Church, Good Samaritan Marley’s House or the Yavapai Humane Society.
