Jerry Allen Dallum

Jerry Allan Dallum, 79, of Prescott, Arizona, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 4, 2016. He was born Feb. 18, 1937.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tyna Alice Tervo Viellieu Calder, and father Frank Rabbit; adoptive parents Martin and Ruth Dallum; and first wife Billie Jean Caughey Dallum. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Barbara Dallum; daughter Gina (George) Rocha; grandsons Rudy and Ricky Rocha; and sisters Genevieve (Tom) Fry, Lucy (Jim) Mallery, Bernice (Rich) Krohn.

Jerry was born and raised in Minnesota. After graduating high school he joined the U.S. Marine Corps in San Diego, California. After the Marines he decided to go to court reporting school in Los Angeles, California. Upon graduation, he became employed with the Los Angeles Superior Court. He worked on many interesting cases for 32 years.

Jerry took an early retirement to become a PBA bowler and traveled to many cities showing off his great bowling skills. His love of the sport and interest in others to succeed made him a teacher to many.

Jerry was a great inspiration and great friend to everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Life Oct. 2, 2016, 1 p.m. at Antelope Lanes Bowling Alley, Prescott Valley, Arizona.
