| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, August 17, 2016, page 7a Francisco (Frank) Madrid 68 joined our Lord and Savior Monday August 8 after a valiant battle with cancer. Frank passed peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends. Born October 4, 1947 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to Rudolpho and Isabel (Garcia) Madrid. Retired, Frank stayed busy with his geology hunts of unique and precious stones which he used to create miniature art. He enjoyed camping, fishing and socializing with family and friends. Survived by his wife of 28 years, Juanita (Placencia) Madrid, sons Frank Madrid Jr., Christopher Hooper, daughters Nicole Madrid, Franchesca Lira, two daughters preceded him in death, Missy Rivera and Marina Rodriguez. Also survived by five brothers, Romolo (Marykay), Rudy (Tina), Thomas (Donna ), Eddie (Donna ) and James (Debbie ) Madrid as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Gravesite services will be held Saturday , August 20, 1:00p.m. at Pioneer Cemetery located at 1300 Iron Springs Road. A private celebration of life will immediately follow at Juanita Madrids home. The Madrid family would like to extend a special thanks to Frank’s amazing life long friends that remained by his side.
