Carl C. Boler Jr., 73, of Chino Valley passed away on Aug. 22, 2016, in Prescott, Arizona.

Carl Curtis Boler Jr., 73, of Prescott, Arizona, passed away Aug. 22, 2016, at Marley House in Prescott, Arizona. Carl was born Nov. 18, 1942, in Altadena, California, to parents Carl Curtis Boler, Sr. and Alice Mae Murphy.

He is survived by wife Sharon (Dolphin); nieces and nephews and cousin, Herb Finley. Predeceased by parents and step-mother (Irene); brother, Bill Boler; and sister, Marilyn Keith.

Carl graduated from John Muir High School in 1960, was a firefighter with U.S. Forest Service. Attended San Diego City College and married Sharon in 1971. Carl owned a business in Los Angeles for 30 years and retired to the Prescott area in June 2005.

Carl enlisted in the U.S Army in February 1966, and completed basic combat training at Ft. Bliss, Texas. He served with the C.I.D. in South Korea.

There will be a memorial at National Cemetery Oct. 14, 2016, at 1 p.m.
