Prescott Morning Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Saturday, September 28, 1901, page 3, column 3 Mrs. F. A. Murphy, of Octave, died at the Mercy hospital the evening of Sept. 26, 1901, and was buried yesterday. Her husband arrived and was at her bedside for two hours before her death. She leaves six children - three boys and three girls. One of the children is only three months old. Pneumonia was the fatal malady. Transcriber's note: Mrs. Murphy is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
