| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/09/2016 Ronita Bourke entered eternal rest unexpectedly Aug. 30, 2016, at the Indian Health Services Hospital in Whiteriver. She was born Jan. 7, 1999, to Aldon Bourke and Delta Pinal in Whiteriver. Ronita lived in Whiteriver all of her life. She attended a boarding school in Anadarko, Okla., for her eighth and ninth grades and a boarding school in Chemawa, Ore., for the first semester of 10th grade and went to Alchesay High School for the second semester. She began 11th grade in Magdalena, N.M. Ronita is survived by her parents, Aldon Bourke and Delta Pinal; sisters Sianna, Delita, Eleanora and DeAlba; grandmothers Shirley Altaha, Rosemary Pinal, Virginia Burnette, Eva Tenorio and Pearl Jake; and grandfather James Jake. Ronita was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Don Bourke Sr. and Annie A. Bourke; maternal grandparents Richard Pinal and Eleanor J. Zahgotah; uncles Doy Pinal, Lorentino Pinal, Don Bourke Jr. and Donaldson Bourke; and brother Randy Bourke. A wake was held Thursday, Sept. 8, at 121 W. Cottonwood Drive in Whiteriver. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at the North Fork Miracle Church in Whiteriver with Lex Baha officiating. Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery.
