DAZEN, Valdas Varden

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/13/2016 Valdas Varden Dazen, 46, of Cibecue, unexpectedly died Sept. 2, 2016, in Cibecue. He was born June 5, 1969, in Whiteriver to Wilkie and Agnes Dazen. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hiking, hunting and being with friends. He worked for forestry as a crew boss. He also enjoyed playing basketball. Valdas is survived by his mother, Agnes Dazen; daughter Lavelda Dazen; aunties Eleanor Bullock and Yvonna Peaches; cousins Romeo Dazen, Arden Dazen Jr., Gibson Pinal, Marcus Bullock, Sherman Bullock Jr., Genevieve Alchesay and Elroy Peaches; nieces Desire Bullock and Katie Dominquez; nephews Jonathan Dominquez, Skyler Dominquez and Marlon Dazen Jr. A wake was held in his honor Thursday, Sept. 8, with funeral services Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Cibecue Lutheran Church.
