George Skoblin, 78 of Cottonwood, passed away on August 24, 2016.

George Skoblin, 78 of Cottonwood, passed away on August 24, 2016. He was born on December 4, 1937 in Missoula, Montana to Serge and Nadia Skoblin.

George majored in electronics in college. He served his country in the Air Force as Airman 1st. Class.

George worked in general dynamics, as a singer and a professional photographer. He designed navigation systems for various NASA projects.

George enjoyed motorcycles, photography and flying.

George was preceded in death by his parents Serge and Nadia Skoblin and sister Lydia Skoblin.

He is survived by son Mike Skoblin of California; daughter Faye Andrews of California; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service to honor his life will be held on Saturday, September 24 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 12:30 PM. VFW Post 7400 will honor his service to his country with Military Honors.
