| Weekly Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, August 16, 1911, page 8, column 4 Affliction Was Fatal Frank Carter, after an illness of a few weeks, succumbed to tuberculosis yesterday at the Mercy hospital. He was brought to the city from Kirkland valley, and came to this country from West Virginia about three years ago in the hope that the change in climate proving beneficial, but the affliction had made such inroads that he failed to secure relief. He was aged about 52 years, and no relatives are known in this territory. The remains are being held at the Ruffner chapel awaiting advice for their disposition from the above state.
