| Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Saturday, October 1, 2016 White, Downer "Don" Dale, 79, of Oak Creek Valley passed away on September 5, 2016. Beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather was born to Carroll and Christine White in Phoenix on March 19, 1937. He pitched for Arizona State University baseball team in late 1950's, earned B.A. (1959) and M.A. (1965), & degrees in education form ASU. He lived in Whiteriver, AZ from 1960 through 2001, and served public schools on the Fort apache Indian Reservation as teacher, coach and consultant for 51 years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Judith Louise, sisters Jayne Galbreath and Kay Duncan, children Mark White, Kelly Morris, Kristy Holgerson, David White, 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
