Donna Lee (Stewart) Moreland 89, of Dewey, Arizona, passed away on September 6, 2016. She was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma, on August 5, 1927 to Don and Bessie Stewart. Donna had one sibling, a sister, “Midge” (Margaret Guinn) who preceded her in death.

Donna married Weyman L. “Jack” Moreland on June 20, 1947 in Phoenix, Arizona. A loving wife and mother to survivors; Cheryl L. (McDonald), Carol L. (Meyer), Jerald L. “Jerry” and Jackie A. Moreland. A playful grandmother to Denise (Bronson) and Terry (McDonald Jr.), Daniel and Rusty (Ruble), Jack and Raymond Moreland; great-grandchildren Bridget and Scarlet (Ruble), Cheryl and Nick (Bronson).

Our mother was joyful. She loved softball and played fast-pitch until she turned 50. She loved family, fun and dancing with our father until his death in 1996. She left memories and laughter which will sustain all of us. We feel a loss too great to describe. The services were private and the cremation was through Sunrise Mortuary in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
