Frank Selbe, 80, passed from death to life Sunday September 25th, 2016. He was born in Phillipsburg, Kansas. At age three, the family moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where he was raised on a cattle ranch and dairy farm. In 1960, he graduated from CSU, Fort Collins, Colorado.
He moved to Arizona in 1966 and started working for First National Bank in 1967 and retired Vice President Branch Manager in Prescott in 1994. He was a life member of the Scottsdale Charros and Globe Elks Lodge.
Frank was a cowboy, an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer and sports enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife Maureen of 35 years, his brother Raymond Selbe of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; 7 children: Joy, Julie, Cindar, Lisa, Wendy, Michael and Adam; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Frank strongly believed that one of man’s greatest attributes is remembering a man’s name, “Because it is the only thing he comes into and leaves this world with.”
Services will be held at Broadway Christian Church on October 3rd at 10:00 A.M. 7335 E. Broadway Rd. Mesa, AZ 85208.
Frank supported many charities and organizations, but one very close to his heart was “Rainbow Acres”, 2120 W. Reservation Loop Rd. Camp Verde, AZ 86322-8408.
