Ann Hiemenz Krummel, age 87, of Prescott Arizona, passed away on Oct. 25, 2016 in Prescott, Arizona.

Ann Hiemenz Krummel died peacefully on Oct. 25, 2016. She was 87. She was born in St. Louis to Arthur Charles Hiemenz and Julia Hiemenz (nee Bates). Upon graduating high school from Villa Duchense, she attended Barat College, studying Music. Ann moved to Aspen, Colorado, where she met her future husband William J. Krummel Jr.

Throughout her years in Denver, Colorado, and later in Prescott, Arizona, Ann was an accomplished and prolific porcelain artist. Her work was recognized by national and international organizations. She was also an avid traveler and dog-lover. She was loved by many and will be remembered for her good nature, love of life and adventuresome spirit. She led an active life, and through her artwork put much beauty into the world. She always saw things in the most positive light.

Ann is survived by children Julia Krummel, Irene Krummel, Charles Krummel and wife Paula Krummel, and granddaughter Kayla Krummel.

There will be a funeral Mass for her on Monday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prescott.

In lieu of flowers, Ann requested donations be made to the St. Bonaventure Indian Mission and School in Thoreau, New Mexico.
