| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, October 28, 2016, page 5a In Loving Memory of 63 year old Bruce Nissen a very well known and respected businessman and former owner of the “Penny Pincher” furniture store here in Chino Valley, passed away Sept. 28 at his home in Chino Valley. He was born in Yankton, South Dakota but raised in Iowa Falls, Iowa and lived many places but felt Chino was his home at last! Bruce moved here in 1984 and started his business on East Perkinsville Road then moved to the Butterfield Road location. He is survived by his son Brian Nissen a resident of Chino Valley, Brenda Nissen his soul mate and caregiver to the very end, also of Chino Valley, sisters Debbie Bircher of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Carla Juliar of Gurnee, Illinois, Mary Jo Covey of Omaha Nebraska and Paulette Nissen of Des Moines, Iowa, daughters Alesha and Chelsea of Kansas.
