GHERING, William Elwood (Bill)

Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 27, 2016 Bill Ghering, 83, of Skull Valley, AZ went to be with the Lord April 21, 2016 in Prescott, AZ. He was born February 16, 1933 at Diamond, PA to Donald and Millicent Ghering. Bill moved to Arizona in 1957. He joined the Glendale Fire Department where he enjoyed his other family of fellow Fire Fighters. He retired and moved to Skull Valley. He was active in the church and the Historical Society. He traveled coast to coast fishing, camping and meeting new friends. He was loved by all and will be missed. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years Lou, son Glenn and wife Cindy, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. There will be a Graveside Service 11:00 AM Saturday April 30, 2016 by Pastor Dennis Fraser at the Skull Valley Cemetery Iron Spring Road, Skull Valley, AZ.
