WHITCHER, Erwin Robert, Jr. Erwin Robert Whitcher Jr., 81, of Coolidge died April 30, 2009 in Casa Grande. No service will be held at his request. Burial was to be in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, in Phoenix. Mr. Whitcher was born Aug. 4, 1927 in Milwaukee. He was a veteran of World War II, the Korean and Vietnam wars and had a career in the Air Force before retiring. He also was an aerospace engineer for more than 30 years. He is survived by a sister, Vivian Venski of Wisconsin. Simes Mortuaries Casa Grande Chapel was in charge of arrangements. Published in the Coolidge Examiner May 05, 2009.
