Wilbur N. Moulton, aged 90, died August 3, 2016, peacefully in Denver. He was an active member of the Prescott community from 1994 to 2005.

Wilbur moved to Prescott after retiring from a career in higher education as an administrator and professor of chemistry and business. Before and after retirement, he was an inveterate traveler and toured or worked in almost 80 countries. He enjoyed birding and photography, and was an active supporter and builder for Habitat for Humanity in Prescott, where he served on the board for six years. He was also an active member of SCORE and Prescott United Methodist Church.

Following the sudden death of his wife Mary Alice Moulton in 2004, he moved to Denver, Colorado, to be closer to family. He is survived by three daughters from a previous marriage: Nancy Moulton of Denver; Deborah Moulton of St. Louis; Melissa Moulton and her husband Steve Zenk of St. Louis; grandson Martin Zenk of Tampa, Florida; his sister Ruth Hufteling and niece Maryann Hufteling of West Haven, Utah; and a host of friends wherever he went.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 5 at Prescott United Methodist Church. Memorial donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity in Prescott.
