| Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, October 27, 2016 Raymond Stange of Clarkdale, Arizona, passed through death to eternal life on Monday, October, 24, 2016. Raymond was born to Elsie (Smith) Stange and Louis Stange on May 22, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois. A t 18, he joined the Army and was part of the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign in World War II. He worked for 38 years as a salesman for Armour Meat Company and for 23 years for the Walmart family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Dolores, and his sister Dorothy. He is survived by his loving wife Wanda, children Darlene (Ian) Strachan, Will (Kathy) Stange, and Steve Stange, 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, 330 Scenic Drive, Clarkdale, on Saturday, October 29, at 2:00 pm with a reception following. Memorials preferred to Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church. Information provided by survivors. |
