Lester Jackson Services Held
Many Attend Funeral Here of Early Resident of This County

Many people of Prescott and Yavapai county yesterday attended the funeral services for Lester Jackson, 63, for 46 years a resident of the county, who died shortly after 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, following a stroke of paralysis. Interment took place at the Citizens' cemetery.
Lester Jackson is survived by the widow and a daughter, living in Miller valley, and by brothers and sisters, among whom are: Mrs. Joe Roberts of Pasadena, Mrs. John Clark of Florida, Mrs. Fred Comfort of Los Angeles, Mrs. William Ritter of Kirkland, Pete Jackson of Prescott, Clarence Jackson of Kirkland, Ezra Jackson of Hillside and Columbus Jackson of Copper Basin, are cousins of the deceased.
Lester Jackson had been at the county hospital for some time. Leaving there Tuesday, he walked to his home in Miller valley, where he shortly afterwards suffered a stroke of paralysis. He was immediately removed to the hospital, but all hope that he would live was given up at 3 o'clock. He died soon after.
Pallbearers at the funeral yesterday were John H. Robinson, Ed Block, C. p. Hicks, Matt Hall, Robert Birch and Henry Braun.
