Derek Nieblas

Derek Nieblas, 16, of Lake Havasu City, went home to be with the
Lord on Sept. 6, 2016.

He was born to his mother Marlen Nieblas on May 31, 2000. He was 16
years old.

Derek lived to make his family and friends smile each and every day.
Derek had a passion for music and writing lyrics. He enjoyed track,
fishing, riding motorcycles, jet skiis, scooters, and loved to play
basketball. Derek also participated as a volunteer for Parks and
Recreation Department in Lake Havasu City.

Derek is survived by his mother, Marlen Nieblas of Lake Havasu City;
step-mother Lauren Winsborough of Lake Havasu City; sister Darleen
Nieblas of Lake Havasu City; grandmother Rosa Maria Inzunza of
Sinaloa, Mexico; uncles Jaime Serrano, Gabriel Nieblas, and Alfredo
Nieblas; aunts Maribel Serrano and Sandra Pantoja; cousins Eric
Nieblas, Gabby Nieblas, Diana Serrano, Lil Jaime Serrano, Cassandra
Nieblas, and Gabriel Nieblas. He loved and admired his girlfriend
Flower Wyatt.

Services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Chapel on
Thursday, Sept. 15 at 5:00pm.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
