| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 <<< Eleanor Torlone, 79, of Lake Havasu City, passed away Sept. 10, 2016. She was born to Cenon Argueza and Eufrosina Florendo on June 9, 1937 in La Union, Philippines. Eleanor was an elementary school teacher in the Philippines. Eleanor met Ernest in 1972 and fell in love. They were married and then moved to America, where she continued teaching. After retirement, Eleanor enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos. Eleanor was a beloved wife, sister and aunt and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents Cenon Argueza and Eufrosina Florendo. Eleanor is survived by her loving husband Ernest Torlone, her brothers Enrique Argueza, Cenon Argueza Jr., Elpidio Argueza and Edward Argueza, her sisters Corazon Ethridge, Caridad Craig, Clarita Parsons, Erlinda Florendo, Estrella Combs and Editha Callera, and brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
